Metabolic Health Program
Weight health • GLP-1 • Insulin resistance
An intensive, clinician-led program built around your biomarkers, your body composition, and your long-term metabolic function — not just the number on the scale.
Metabolic health is the foundation of long-term wellness.
Your metabolic health reflects how well your body regulates blood sugar, blood pressure, cholesterol, and body composition — the core systems that, when out of balance, quietly drive the chronic disease burden most Americans face. Weight gain, insulin resistance, and metabolic syndrome rarely happen overnight. They build gradually, often without obvious symptoms, until they show up as diabetes, heart disease, fatty liver, or joint disease years later.
The encouraging part: metabolic dysfunction is one of the most preventable and reversible drivers of chronic disease. With the right combination of medical management, nutrition, movement, and consistent tracking, metabolic health can meaningfully improve — often before medication doses need to increase, and sometimes to the point that medication can be reduced altogether.
This program is proactive in focus. We're here to help prevent insulin resistance, prediabetes, and metabolic syndrome from progressing — not to manage an existing diabetes diagnosis. If you've already been diagnosed with diabetes, your primary care provider or endocrinologist remains the right resource for ongoing disease management, and we're glad to coordinate alongside them.
Hormonal shifts matter here too. Declining estrogen during perimenopause and after menopause is linked to increased insulin resistance and a higher likelihood of visceral fat gain — one reason this program pairs naturally with our Hormone Health Program for patients navigating both at once.
This is exactly why the Metabolic Health Program is built around ongoing tracking, not a one-time intervention — because metabolic health is dynamic, and your plan should move with it.

Comprehensive, hands-on support for real metabolic change.
The Metabolic Health Program is one of our intensive focused clinical programs — built for patients who want structured, closely monitored support for weight health, GLP-1 therapy, insulin resistance, or metabolic syndrome.
From day one, you're wrapped in a full care team:
- Medical provider — diagnosis, prescribing, and medication management
- Registered dietitian — nutrition strategy built around your labs and goals
- Personal trainer — movement programming to preserve lean muscle
- Health coach — accountability and behavior support between visits
Because every patient's metabolic picture is different, your protocol is personalized from the start and adjusted along the way based on your labs, your body composition, and how you're responding.
A full team, working from the same plan.

A 3-month minimum, built for proper management.
Metabolic change takes time to measure accurately.
- Comprehensive work-up
- Time to establish your baseline
- Protocol adjustments
- Repeat labs, biometrics, and body composition tracking
- Medication and side effect management
After the initial 3 months, many patients move to a month-to-month structure — the right path forward is something we'll decide together based on your progress. If you're on medication, we'll continue monitoring your biomarkers and labs throughout, and we'll talk through the plan for decreasing your dose, microdosing, or eventually coming off medication when you're ready and able.
Our goal isn't lifelong dependence on medication—it's lifelong metabolic health. Whether that means maintaining progress, tapering medication, microdosing, or eventually discontinuing treatment, we'll help you build a plan that's sustainable for the long term.
How billing works for this program.
The Metabolic Health Program fee itself — biomarker and body composition tracking, health coaching, your dietitian and personal trainer visits, and medication management — is a cash-pay program fee and is not billed to insurance.
- Hybrid Care: Medical provider office visits are separate from the program fee and, where clinically appropriate, may be billed to your insurance.
- Concierge Care: All medical provider office visits are included in your program fee, so there is nothing further to bill to insurance for those visits.
- Labs may be billed to insurance when clinically indicated and covered, or self-pay when not.
- Medications, IV therapy, injections, and peptides are billed separately from the program fee and are not guaranteed insurance benefits.
Every patient's coverage is different. We'll walk through what's likely to be covered, what typically isn't, and what to expect before you begin. HSA and FSA funds can often be used toward eligible medical services — check with your plan administrator for specifics.
